AKAM Promotes Jessica Ruiz to SVP, Head of Southeast Operations

Twenty-year Industry Veteran Assumes Expanded Leadership Role Overseeing AKAM’s Florida Portfolio

NEW YORK, May 20, 2026 — AKAM, one of the nation’s leading property management firms, today announced the promotion of Jessica Ruiz to Senior Vice President, Head of Southeast Operations. 

In this expanded role, Ruiz will assume full leadership of AKAM’s Florida business, reporting directly to CEO Ken Greene.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Ruiz brings an incredible depth of expertise to her new role. She previously served as Vice President of Management at AKAM, where she held direct oversight and retention responsibility for a portfolio of properties across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Prior to joining AKAM, she held Community Association Manager and Regional Director roles at FirstService Residential and Atlantic Pacific Companies, managing some of South Florida’s most prominent luxury residential communities. She has a proven track record of enhancing property operations, improving financial performance, and guiding communities through complex projects, construction litigation, and developer turnover transitions. Her experience includes streamlining operational process and supporting boards and residents through critical community transitions and long-term planning initiatives.

Ruiz holds a Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) license, is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), and was a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate.
